this guy was watching the vmas with me and now he’s educating himself how precious is that

he keeps asking me all these questions about aspects of feminism and he’s like “so basically it’s about letting women do what they want without being judged for it” and I was like yea and he was like “oh okay that’s so simple why isn’t everyone a feminist” it’s precious

update: I banged him

When I say “boys are dumb” what I really mean is “boys have been raised in a patriarchal society that forces them into an incorrect and problematic view of masculinity that not only forces them to strip away valuable virtues from themselves, like patience and gentleness, but also forces them them to view and treat women in unhealthy ways that devalues women as people and makes them into objects purely for a man’s benefit”

but it’s a lot faster to say “boys are dumb”

When you’ve been abused by a parent like that dealing with anything afterwords is terrifying.

I can only imagine the emotions Zuko was feeling when he apologised to Iroh there.

^This is one of the reasons that I think going in to apologize to Iroh is one of the bravest things that Zuko’s ever done, because of how much it must have terrified him to do so (Iroh would never hurt Zuko like that, but that fear had to have been at the top of Zuko’s mind at this moment)

And why I love Iroh so, so much for being who he is.

I will always think of this when I watch that scene now.

there is no reason for him to have a bandage around his head here

but i imagine he put it on himself

he probably had a headache for the first time and had no idea what it was or how to fix it

Update pakistan;
1. They are stopping people from giving blood to protestors who are bleeding out
2. They are forcing doctors not to report number of deaths and injuries
3. They have hit people with real steel bullets instead of rubber one’s
4. They are sending severely injured people home without giving them proper treatment

CAN WE PLEASE SIGNAL BOOST THIS? Because literally nobody I’ve spoken to about this even knows wtf is happening.

I’m here today to talk to you about the most criminally underestimated parrot: the parakeet.

image

Yes, though they are small, they ARE parrots. You might call them “budgies,” you might call them “budgerigars,” but you should never call them “just.” As in, “just a parakeet.”
